  • Bradford on Film is back - with a very special offer!

    We’re celebrating the sights and sounds of Bradford as Pictureville Cinema opens its doors today to welcome audiences back to the big screen once again. And what better way to kick start the programme than with two special presentation screenings of Bradford on Film, with fabulous local footage from every decade selected from, and presented by, the Yorkshire Film Archive.

    The Easter eggs have been eaten, the blossom is blooming, and under normal circumstances it would have been back to school for children across the UK; however, the effects of COVID-19 are writing a new chapter in our history. As parents start to plan their next homeschooling lesson and teachers get to grips with ‘virtual teaching’, we thought it was a good time to look behind the scenes of a much-loved York school.
