NEFA launches ambitious new Search & Rescue campaign


NEFA is excited to announce the launch of its new Search & Rescue campaign.  We’re asking everyone who lives in, works in or loves the North East to help us re-discover those forgotten film and videotape collections that have recorded life in the region over the past one hundred and twenty years. 

A New Life in Huddersfield

A new documentary ‘A New Life in Huddersfield – Memories of Partition and Migration’ reveals untold stories from Partition survivors on how they escaped the violence, fled their homelands and eventually settled into new lives in Huddersfield.  On Tuesday 22nd May, the documentary premiered to over 80 special guests at the Heritage Quay in Huddersfield.
