Amateur home movie compilation with intertitles made by the Middlesbrough filmmaker Tom H. Brown. Covering the years 1930-1933, the film records a family tour of the Scottish Borders from Berwick-Upon-Tweed to Edinburgh, Melrose and Gretna Green. Includes footage of the salmon fishing industry in Berwick Upon Tweed and of the arrival of HRH Prince of Wales for the official opening of Constantine College, Middlesbrough, on 2 July 1930. The racing personality, Sir Henry Segrave, and his boat the 'Miss England II' feature in scenes from the Lake District. This material was probably filmed shortly before Segrave set the water speed record at Windermere on 13 June 1930.
Amateur cine club record of the Dorman Long built Tees (Newport) Bridge in Middlesbrough as it nears completion in October 1933, and of the official opening ceremony of the bridge on 28 February 1934, conducted by the Duke and Duchess of York, (later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.) The film was made by Middlesbrough dentist and amateur filmmaker Tom H. Brown with his Teesside Cine Club colleague, W. Maxwell.

A home movie made by the Neesham family of Redcar begins with a woman taking her new-born child to show colleagues at ICI Wilton near Redcar. Women at work in a laboratory and office are followed by a visit to the Wilton site by Princess Margaret and views of the women waiting to see the Royal visitor. The film also features a hockey match between men and women taking place in a field near Wilton and a visit to Scarborough. The remainder of the film consists of a series of weddings that generally begin with the bride and her father posing for the camera followed by the couple after the service posing for photographs. The final wedding also features the reception and the film ends with the couple and other guests leaving the venue, some carrying section of wedding cake.
