This film documents a carnival as it processes through the streets of Eccleshill, Bradford and provides a good example of the types of carnivals that were common during the 1920s. The procession includes many decorated floats as well as participants in fancy dress.
This is a film of Leeds Children's Day, beginning with a procession through Leeds led by the Gala Queen, and finishing at Roundhay Park. In Roundhay Park there is a baby competition, a children's fancy dress competition, track events, country dancing and a fair.
