Contract for Delivery: 'Hull on Film'

The Yorkshire Film Archive are launching their new Heritage Lottery Funded project, ‘Hull on Film’, creating access to the rich film heritage collections of Hull held here at the YFA.  We are now advertising the contract for delivery of the project, which includes screenings, events and an online exhibition.

‘Hull on Film’ will create a raft of new opportunities for people to see, enjoy and engage with YFA’s film heritage collections made in, or about the City of Hull.   The six month programme of community screenings and events is all about re-connecting people with local archive footage – familiar faces, places, major events and everyday lives in Hull captured on film over the past 100 years.  In addition to the screenings, one of the key aims of ‘Hull on Film’  is to create permanent access through an engaging and evocative online exhibition, ensuring the audiences can continue to see and enjoy Hull’s film heritage now, and in the future.

Full details are included in the brief, which is available to download below.  The fee for the work is £6,500, with additional travel expenses available; the work is to be completed by April 2018.

The closing date for applications is 13th October 2017.
