The film opens with a young boy on the beach who plays air guitar for the camera. Following this, a mother and her two children pose for the camera outside their caravan at a caravan park. The action moves to the beach and the camera shows good views of the boys playing on the sand and shots of them having fun in the sea. The family have also set up a small tent on the beach, and a man reads the newspaper while sitting on a deckchair nearby the tent. In addition to the footage of the family on the beach, there is a brief shot which shows a sailboat in the distance. The film closes with scenes of Scarborough train station with a steam train pulling into the station and stopping at the platform.
