This is the first part of a film made by Eddie Percy of a large Easter excursion leaving Settle Market Place.  The film features many shops in the market place which are no longer there.

On a rainy day many buses or coaches are parked up in Settle Market Square, in front of Silcocks shop (selling cattle and poultry food), waiting for passengers to go on an excursion.  The buses make their way off through the town, along with cars and motorcycles and sidecars, forming a convoy, filmed across form John Moore and Sons corner shop.
