A short amateur film made by Rebecca Patterson, described by the filmmaker as a cine poem, which records views near to her home including St Mary's Lighthouse at Whitley Bay, the Alcan Terminal near to Blyth and small boats at Seaton Sluice.

The film opens with general views of waves splashing on a rocky beach near St Mary’s Island, St Mary's lighthouse and waves crashing onto the rocks surrounding the island.

Travelling shots from a boat of the Alcan Terminal at North Blyth and the concrete wall along Blyth North Pier. A wind turbine off Blyth slowly turns.

General view of waves on the sea, small boats at Seaton Sluice marooned on the sand at low tide, the road bridge crossing Seaton Burn changes. A gull feeds in the mud. More views of boats marooned at low tide follow.

The film ends with a lone fisherman sea fishing from a rocky edge.
