The film begins showing All Saints Church, Preston. There is a carnival procession, with adults and children in fancy dress. Next, adults, civilians, and soldiers, are all queuing up outside the door of a single storey timber building. On a wet day there is a parade through the town centre, led by a Boy’s Scouts Band, with marching soldiers and members of various Home Front services, as well as civilians, carrying various flags. They all make their way into the Church, and the film comes to an end.
