This film features a Lord Mayor's Parade in Bradford which took place on 13th November, 1938.

Title - Lord Mayor's Church Parade. Attendance in State of the Lord Mayor and Corporation, at Divine service at the Cathedral on Sunday 13th November 1938. 10:30am.

It is raining the day of this civic function. The police force and brass band stand at ease in the main street near Carters & Singers. Street signs can also be seen indicating the direction of Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds, and Sheffield. There are shots of the fire brigade, civil defence, and police on motor cycles and on foot. Scouts lead the march, and they are followed by military veterans, St. John's Ambulance, and dignitaries.

It is still raining, and the parade retraces its steps. The march is led by a brass band and police. It also features the Boys Brigade band.
