A group of children and parents gather on a patch of grass in a street and wave to the camera, with balloons and Union Jacks to celebrate the Jubilee. They all join in to play games, including racing with balloons between their legs and races with skipping ropes. They all walk down the road to an indoor party, where the children wearing paper hats sit at tables full of food. A woman lets a girl sip from her large glass of beer. The film finishes with a woman in her back garden with the family pet dog.
