Film ID: YFA 481 ISLE OF MAN TT RACES 1930s Visitor TabsDescription This film documents the motorcycle races on the Isle of Man. The film begins with a few overall views of the island before focusing on the races. Here the men stand by their motorcycles, each of which have a number on it for the race. They all lined up for inspection before they begin the race. The racecourse is that of the streets of the island. There are a few key points where spectators have set up to watch the race, but most are gathered at the finish line. When the winner crosses the massive crowd cheers. In the background at the finish line, there is a Continuous Leader board as well as a map of the race. The film then closes with more scenes from around the island including the boardwalk and seagulls at the seaside.
