Film ID: YFA 2414 FARMHOUSE AND CHURCH 1966 Visitor TabsDescription This film was made by an amateur filmmaker who was a farmer from Reighton, near Filey, North Yorkshire and captures shots of his farmhouse and the grounds of a local church. He was a keen filmmaker and would often take films of the local area as a record of village life. The film opens with shots of the white farmhouse followed by shots of the village church. There is a close up shot of a gravestone, that of John Thomas Pease, on which daffodils are placed. The final sequence contains footage of the countryside taken from a car as it makes it way down the country roads.
