Description

This film shows various short passages from the families exploits, and the sequences vary greatly in content.

Title - Our thrushes.

In the opening shot of this film a thrush flies into a bush. There are then many shots of a garden, before the filmmaker cuts to show the thrushes nest, where a young chickling is scooped up by a hand, where it sits in the palm opening its wings weakly. More shots show where the nest is hidden amongst the bushes, and there is then a sequence which of a man hand feeding a worm to the young thrush. Next, the chickling is perched on a wooden swing and the chickling hops about as the swing is gently moved.

Title -Thoresdy Masonic outing to Coathland.

Men wearing suits and trilbies board a bus. There is then a shot of the masonic group walking down a country lane in Coathland, before the filmmaker cuts to show some locals playing a game of ring toss.

An extended scene next captures a garden party; men and women, wearing apparel which reflects their affluent backgrounds, mingle in the garden chatting and laughing. Following this, the guests make their way away from the garden and the filmmaker cuts back to his thrush nest, which is now laden with eggs.

A grand stone church stone church is then shown from several different angles, and the interior is captured from a raised vantage point.

The action then switches to a golf course, where several men play round of golf; they make long drives from the fairway and puts on the green. The filmmaker then captures a golfer practicing his swing in a field. The final shot of this film shows a cat eating from a plate on the floor.
