Part of the Wilkinson collection, this film was taken of the Monday afternoon dance group held for the elderly at the Methodist Church in Beighton.

From across the street the film shows the Methodist Church in Beighton and the hall next to it where dancing is held on a Monday afternoon. Inside the hall an elderly group are dancing. After the first set of dancing Mrs Wilkinson asks everyone to take the floor for a Broadway quick step, then on to a slow version of 'Roses of Picardy'.

Mrs Wilkinson calls for people to take their partners for a tango, after which they stop for a tea break, before more dancing. Mrs Wilkinson states that they will finish with the 'Forget me not waltz' (in fact 'There Goes My Everything '). At the end everyone leaves.
