Film ID: YFA 2893 DRIVE AROUND CLAYTON 1940s Visitor TabsDescription This is a film that shows views of Clayton, a small village near Bradford, taken from a moving car. The film opens as the car is travelling along an almost empty residential road, filming from the front of the car. They pass a group of people walking along the pavement with railings and trees. Then, they pass a bus. Two women cross the road in front of them and they pass some parked cars and a horse and cart. Some school boys and girls run across the road. The car then turns into a street where there is a small row of shops. The film ends with the car driving down a lane with stone built walls either side.
