This is a film showing some of the attractions and events at the Otley Show in 1977.

Title – A Day Out at Otley Show

The film opens with a road sign for the Otley Show followed by a shot of an archway with battlements.  The Jubilee Clock in Otley Market Place can be seen, and shoppers move around the stalls including one for the Chippendale Society.  The nameplate for Thomas Chippendale can be seen, and one of the shops is that of Quantrill.  Above the stalls in the Market Place, there is a large picture of a bull.  The film shows some of the streets, both quiet and busy, and then canoes on the River Wharfe.

Title – Fun of the Fair

There is a large fair, with lots of rides and people, a cattle show and a horse show.

Title – The Main Show Arena

There is a show jumping competition, and the Tetley shire horses are also in attendance.  The horses are highly decorated.  This is followed by a display of acrobatics on horseback, a dog show, and bulls on parade.  The film closes with a shot of a line of home-made racing cars.
