The film opens with a parade starting with a National Lifeboat being pulled along the street on wheels by a group of uniformed women. There are children dancing in fancy dress, and other colourfully decorated floats. A boy and a girl in matching red jumpers, probably Eric Bolderson's son and daughter Stephen and Janet, are feeding seagulls. A Salvation Army brass band marches by and children perform ring o' ring o' roses for the crowd. The film closes with some with of the coastline, including the beach and the rocky cliffs.
