Description

Amateur film of the Brunswick Methodist Church parade in 1961, which covers the area around Northumberland Street, Brunswick Place and Pilgrim Street in Newcastle.

Uniformed boys and officers of the Boys Brigade stand to attention outside Morris and Jones Ltd goods entrance.

The marching band of drums and pipes parade by, followed by four battalions of boys. They then march into the Brunswick Methodist Chapel, taking off their hats.

Next, the battalions march past the vicar and some salute.

Finally, they march away from camera down Pilgrim Street.
