Description

Amateur film documenting a Newcastle Boys Brigade trip to the High Force waterfall in Teesdale, County Durham.

A large crowd of parents and children are gathered outside a railway station. They cheer and wave as the camera pans across the group, some jostling to get in shot, including a young woman with a fox stole. In the background adverts that appear include poster for the chronicle newspaper.

In the next scene the Boys Brigade troop of boys cross over a river using stepping stones. There is a shot of High Force waterfall. The boys and officers walk towards camera on a path high beside the River Tees with High Force visible in the background.

The boys towel themselves dry on the banks of the River Tees.
